Studio + Marketing Assistant
Job Type: Part-time
Expected hours: 8 – 10 per week
Schedule: Day shift / Evening shift / Weekends as needed
Work Location: In person (San Francisco & Novato) + Remote
Pay: $23.00 per hour
Important Info: 10hr per week with 1-2hr on weekends. $23hr to start with an opportunity for an increase at 6 months based on performance. Schedule is somewhat flexible with needs mainly mid-day and evenings, based on class schedules and marketing releases. After training, the schedule is more flexible, but extra hours may be required toward campaign deadlines.

Role Description:
A hybrid, part-time role as a Studio & Marketing Assistant at Entangle & Sway blends responsibilities in conducting market research, supporting in-studio needs, and collaborating with our management team to execute marketing ideas. This position is a blend of remote work and on-site in San Francisco/Marin. The role has an emphasis on social media marketing through Meta Apps, TikTok, Google, Pinterest, and utilizes Microsoft Office/Google Suite, Adobe Creative Suite (adobe express, lightroom, photoshop, illustrator), and the Squarespace website/marketing platform.
Qualifications:
We are seeking a future team member with a passion for advertising/design and excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills. They need the ability to make good judgments and quick decisions on marketing goals and be open and excited for feedback. Proficiency in Microsoft Office/Google Suite and social media platforms is a must. Experience in the fitness/dance industry is not required, but lack of will require more in-studio time during training. A knowledge of photo editing programs, market research/development, and customer service experience is preferred, but not specifically required.
Tasks Summary:
- Manage all social media platforms
- Design, curate, and schedule engaging social media content
- Maintain and update studio check-in logs
- Handle email, phone, and voicemail inquiries efficiently
- Monitor class sign-ups and manage low drop-in package inquiries
- Send timely reminders and updates to students
- Ensure studios are impeccably maintained and welcoming
Ongoing Responsibilities:
- Fulfill owner/management admin needs
- Assist in newsletter creation, website updates, and calendar maintenance
- Assist in promotions and advertisement campaigns
- Capture, sort, organize and edit photo/video content for future marketing endeavors
- Analyze ad performance metrics and recommend thoughtful improvements
- Collaborate on strategy ideas to boost online engagement, new business, and followership
- Engage with comments and messages promptly
- Assist in tracking student purchases and organizing instructor schedules
- Aid in coordinating staff meetings, instructor payouts, and studio financials
- Maintain supply inventory and place orders as needed
- Support new business outreach and open house initiatives
